Tree climbing
The tree climbing activity takes place on the Le Peu Educational farm near the high ropes courses.
The idea is to climb to the top, using top-ropes for the trunk section, then the branches and apparatus to reach the top of the tree.
Key Information :
- open to adults and children over 8 ;
- lead by qualified CPA Lathus instructors ;
- open to people with hearing, or mild learning disabilities.

Practical details :
This activity can be organised as a minimum half-day session, supervised by a qualified instructor.
Organised for groups of 8 or more people.
Equipment and clothing : CPA Lathus provides the helmet and safety equipment. Wear a coverall suit or old clothes.

The forest environment where the tree climbing activity takes place is rich in plant and animal life, and this provides a fun way for our participants to learn about respect for nature. In a similar way to the rock climbing, the activity demonstrates the importance of safety and solidarity amongst group members.
