The village of Lathus-St-Rémy is located in the south of the Vienne department, just a few kilometres from the neighbouring department of Haute-Vienne. It is actually the largest commune in our department, in terms of surface area. The village also belongs to the canton of Montmorillon and the administrative district called the Communauté de Communes Vienne et Gartempe (CCVG).
Lathus St-Rémy has a lively village centre due to numerous small shops and businesses, appreciated by both the locals and people travelling through the village.
